Scholarships

Eligibility: Graduating high school senior from any Hilliard public school or a parishioner of St. Margaret of Cortona or St. Brendan pursuing a post-secondary degree in a Special Education related field.
This fund will provide one scholarship grant to one senior student who attends Hilliard Darby High School in Hilliard, Ohio, and plans to pursue a post-secondary degree in a Special Education related field.

Eligibility Requirements and Criteria

• Must be a graduating high school student from the Diocese of Columbus, Ohio
• Must be pursuing a degree in nursing or teaching
• Must provide a letter of nomination from a parish leader, such as clergy or youth minister
• After reviewing the biography, students must submit an essay answering the following two questions in 350 words or less: In what ways can you apply these Christ-like characteristics in describing your daily life today, and how will you put them to use in the vocation of nursing or teaching?
• Demonstration without financial prejudice that the scholarship will most enable the student to realize his/her vocation may be considered in close decisions

Eligibility: William V. Fisher Catholic High School (Lancaster) – tuition assistance
This fund provides tuition assistance to students of William V. Fisher Catholic High School in Lancaster, Ohio.

Eligibility: Graduating senior of any Catholic High School within the Diocese of Columbus who is accepted and enrolled in the Mount Carmel College of Nursing
This fund provides tuition assistance to a senior student meeting all the requirements for graduation from a high school in the Diocese of Columbus, Ohio and that is accepted at and enrolled in the Mount Carmel College of Nursing, as confirmed in writing.

Eligibility: Graduating High School Seniors from the Diocese of Columbus who have been nominated by a Catholic Parish leader for willingness to serve other and pursuing higher education in nursing or teaching

Eligibility: St. Francis DeSales and Cristo Rey High School students – tuition assistance.

This fund shall provide scholarship grants to provide tuition assistance for students of St. Francis DeSales High School, Columbus, Ohio, and Cristo Rey High School, Columbus, Ohio. Please visit the schools’ websites for more information. **The deadline for DeSales students to submit scholarship applications is January 31**

Eligibility: Bishop Watterson High School students – tuition assistance

This fund provides tuition assistance to a student attending Bishop Watterson High School who meets the qualifications as determined by Bishop Watterson High School.

Eligibility: Tuscarawas Central Catholic High School students – tuition assistance

This fund shall provide scholarship grants to deserving students attending Tuscarawas Central Catholic Junior/Senior High School, New Philadelphia, Ohio.

Eligibility: St. Agatha, St. Andrew, St. Christopher, and Our Lady of Victory Parishioners who are graduating high school seniors and will be attending Ohio State University (any location including branches). Also eligible are graduating high school seniors who are Catholics and reside in the Tri-Village area of Columbus (Grandview Heights, Marble Cliff, Upper Arlington).
The purpose of this fund is to provide scholarship grants to Catholic students who attend or will be attending The Ohio State University and is an active member of St. Andrew Parish, Columbus, Ohio, St. Agatha Parish, Columbus, Ohio, Our Lady of Victory Parish, Columbus, Ohio, or St. Christopher Parish, Columbus, Ohio or have primary residence in the Tri-Village area of metropolitan Columbus, Ohio, which includes Grandview Heights, Marble Cliff, Upper Arlington (south of Fishinger Road), and areas of Columbus west of the Olentangy River and west of Riverside Drive between Fifth Avenue and Lane Avenue.

Eligibility: Bishop Watterson High School students – tuition assistance
This fund provides tuition assistance to deserving students attending Bishop Watterson High School.

Eligibility: Graduating senior of any Catholic High School within the Diocese of Columbus who will be pursuing a post-secondary degree.

This fund provides tuition assistance for college to a graduating senior of a Catholic High School in the Diocese of Columbus.

Eligibility: Any student attending a Catholic High School during the upcoming school year with demonstrated financial need.
This fund will provide one scholarship grant to a student who is attending a Catholic High School that has provided a recommendation letter from a community leader (clergy, youth minister, teacher, etc.) attesting to the applicant’s active involvement in his/her own Catholic faith formation. In addition, financial need is a key evaluation criteria.

Eligibility: Any rising 9th grade student (i.e. current 8th grade student) who will be attending a Catholic High School within the Columbus Diocese
This fund provides four years of tuition assistance to a rising 9th grade attending any Catholic High School within the Diocese of Columbus. This scholarship is renewable for all four years if the student remains at a Catholic High School in good standing.
The focus of this scholarship is on financial need, Catholic Faith, and devotion to the Blessed Mother.

Eligibility: Graduating senior of any Catholic High School within the Diocese of Columbus or a senior high school student who is a parishioner in good standing of St. Peter or St. Mary Parishes in Chillicothe, Ohio who will be pursuing a post-secondary degree
This fund shall provide scholarship grants for the first year of college tuition for either a graduating senior of a Catholic high school in the Diocese of Columbus or a senior high school student who is a parishioner in good standing of St. Peter or St. Mary Parish in Chillicothe, Ohio.
