Women’s Care Center of Ohio
The most important thing we do is show young women that we genuinely care about them, not just their baby. We save the baby, by loving and serving the mother.
Women’s Care Center was founded by Dr. Janet E. Smith in 1984, when she was a young professor at the University of Notre Dame. The center has grown to become the largest, most successful pregnancy resource center in America.
We serve 26,000 women annually from twenty-eight centers in ten states, including Florida, Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Maryland, Michigan, Minnesota, Ohio, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin. Women’s Care Center opened two centers in Columbus in 2008. 1 of 10 babies born born in Franklin County start with us…and abortions have been cut nearly 30%. Because of its location “next door”, the Main Street outreach has been key to saving so many moms and babies.
