Women’s Care Center of Ohio

The most important thing we do is show young women that we genuinely care about them, not just their baby. We save the baby, by loving and serving the mother.

About

Women’s Care Center was founded by Dr. Janet E. Smith in 1984, when she was a young professor at the University of Notre Dame. The center has grown to become the largest, most successful pregnancy resource center in America.

Over 400 women a day nationally are welcomed at a Women’s Care Center. Offering free, confidential counseling and education to women facing unplanned pregnancies, the Women’s Care Centers support families from conception through toddler years. They care for both the mother and child, before and after birth, with services including free ultrasounds, individual counseling and parenting classes, and material support.

Locations

We serve 30,000 women annually from thirty-two centers in eleven states, including Florida, Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Maryland, Michigan, Minnesota, Nebraska, Ohio, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin.

Women’s Care Center opened two centers in Columbus in 2008. 1 of 9 babies born born in Franklin County start with us…and abortions have been cut nearly 43%. Because of our location “next door”, the Main Street outreach has been key to saving so many moms and babies.
