John Igel has served as President of the George J. Igel & Co., Inc. since 1997 – a fourth-generation family company operating since 1911.   The company specializes in industrial, commercial retail, municipal, transportation, sport’s entertainment, wetlands, education, healthcare and hardscapes construction employing approximately 400 employees.

John graduated with a civil engineering degree from the University of Notre Dame.

He serves on various charity and professional boards including OCA, Builders Exchange of Central Ohio, St. Stephen’s Community House, and Catholic Foundation.

He and his wife, Dolores, who celebrate their 30 year wedding anniversary this year, have three children.
